Description

The Emory Sleep Center is expanding sleep medicine services to Warner Robins, Georgia, and is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Sleep Medicine Physician to establish and grow a new outpatient sleep clinic while providing clinical oversight of the local sleep laboratory. This physician will have the unique opportunity to build a new practice with the support, resources, and multidisciplinary expertise of the established Emory Sleep Center network. In addition to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and interpreting sleep studies, the physician will play an integral role in developing clinical operations, fostering relationships with referring providers, and expanding access to comprehensive sleep medicine services throughout the region.

The Emory Sleep Center is a comprehensive, multidisciplinary program that provides outpatient sleep medicine services and home sleep apnea testing at three Emory campuses: Executive Park, Emory Decatur Hospital, and Emory Johns Creek Hospital. We also manage sleep laboratories at Executive Park, Emory Johns Creek, Emory Decatur, and Emory Hillandale, supported by an integrated in-house durable medical equipment (DME) program for positive airway pressure (PAP) therapy. Our collaborative provider team includes physicians with backgrounds in Neurology, Pulmonary Medicine, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, and Otolaryngology (ENT), along with a psychologist specializing in Behavioral Sleep Medicine and experienced advanced practice providers. As part of Emory's academic mission, we also have an active ACGME-accredited Sleep Medicine Fellowship that trains four fellows annually, offering opportunities for teaching and academic collaboration.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must possess a Doctor of Medicine Degree (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree (D.O.). Must hold a valid and unrestricted medical license to practice medicine in the State of Georgia. Board Eligible or Board Certified preferred. Hold a valid DEA certificate without restriction. Experience in outpatient medical practice preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills required. Must be computer literate.
