The Department of Orthopaedics at the Emory University School of Medicine is seeking an additional Internal Medicine physician to join our expanding program in the Medical Optimization Clinic. Our mission is to partner with a multidisciplinary team to provide compassionate, comprehensive, evidence-based medical optimization and preoperative assessment for our patients undergoing surgery at Emory University Orthopaedics and Spine Hospital. The physician is expected to function independently but also work in close collaboration with providers from other departments to coordinate medical optimization of patients prior to surgery.
The faculty member will be expected to participate in continuing education, professional and faculty development and scholarship as directed by their department. Expected faculty rank for these positions will be Assistant Professor or higher, however, final rank and salary will be commensurate with selected candidate’s qualifications and experience.
