Description

This position is a float position at Emory University Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU) operating unit. 

 

We are seeking Registered Nurses with active GA License, and 2.5 years’ experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU).  This position will float with the operating unit at Emory University Hospital.

Location:        Location will be communicated upon minimum qualification screen completion.

      Shift:         Day and Night 

   Salary:        Based on Years of Experience plus $5 premium

Emory University Facility Float Registered Nurse (RN) MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Must have a valid, active, unencumbered nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board.
  • 24 months of Intensive Care Unit (ICU) nursing experience within the past five years.
  • BLS required, ACLS, PALS, may also be required based on the clinical area of assignment and patient population



JUDGEMENT: Incumbent may work under close supervision following established routines or assigned work with limited employee latitude. Employees may work under general supervision and receives general guidance on work priority with substantial employee latitude. Employees may work independently under the general direction of their leader. LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION
