We're seeking a Unit Charge Registered Nurse for our 4400 Med-Tele/Stroke Unit at Emory Decatur Hospital. This leadership role is ideal for an experienced clinician who brings strong critical thinking, team guidance, and a patient-centered approach to care. As a Unit Charge RN, you’ll apply the Synergy Model for Care, support your team in dynamic clinical situations, and serve as a key resource and advocate for both staff and patients.
Unit 4400 is Emory Decatur’s designated stroke unit, also caring for patients with neurological conditions, low-risk cardiac diagnoses, and a range of other medical needs. It is a 24-bed unit with a typical nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5–6. Nurses on this unit are certified in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS, enabling them to provide highly specialized care. The unit is supported by a Unit Practice Council, a Nurse Educator, and an Education Coordinator, creating a collaborative environment that fosters professional development and excellence.
