7pm-7:30am / Full Time / 36 Hours

 

 

 

We're seeking a Registered Nurse OU Float WEO, Med/Surg Department responsible for being a capable clinician who has acquired broad experience in caring for patients and has developed a sound understanding about the care of a particular patient population and routinely uses acquired knowledge, theory, research and experience to respond to changes in clinical situations. This RN professional can apply the Synergy Model for Care in practice and use this knowledge to personalize care for each patient/family while serving as a resource to colleagues and strong advocate for them. This individual will:

 

 

  • Provide clinical support across various departments within an EHC operating unit/facility as part of the float pool.
  • Delivers patient-centered care using the Synergy Model, adapting to individual patient and family needs.
  • Demonstrates advanced clinical judgment through broad experience and understanding of specific patient populations.
  • Identifies and addresses complex patient issues, including abnormal diagnostics, behavioral changes, and learning needs.
  • Coordinates care and ensures continuity by managing diagnostic procedures and anticipating potential crises.
  • Functions as a resource and mentor for less experienced nurses and support staff; may serve as preceptor.
  • May assume Charge Nurse responsibilities, including making patient care assignments and overseeing unit flow.
  • Applies deep knowledge of therapeutic care, patient advocacy, care pathways, and hospital systems.
  • Participates in quality improvement initiatives and supports evidence-based practice changes.
  • Accurately documents all aspects of care, adhering to established charting procedures and standards.

 

 

Minimum Requirements:

 

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Must have a valid, active unencumbered nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board.
  • 24 months of recent nursing experience within the past five years.
