PRN/ 8 Hour Shift / Varies

The ED/ICU Clinical Pharmacy Specialist functions as a clinical expert in the Emergency Department / Intensive Care Unit. The incumbent assesses and evaluates drug therapy and makes recommendations as appropriate. In addition, serves as a preceptor for students and residents and serves as a resource for pharmacists advancing their clinical skills.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of accredited school of pharmacy.
• Licensure or eligibility for licensure in Georgia
• ASHP-ACCREDITED PGY1 and PGY 2 residencies or equivalent experience. BPS certified preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification in accordance with the American Heart Association required.
