Description

The BMET is an entry-level position for technicians completing their technical training. The Bio Med Tech will learn about all classes of clinical equipment and their applications.

  • Performs modifications and repairs of general equipment and minor repairs of complex equipment.
  • Assists other technicians in the troubleshooting and major repair of complex equipment. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate's Degree or Diploma in Biomedical Equipment Technology or Electronic Technology or equivalent military training is preferred.
  • The BMET I may have less than one month experience in BMET or clinical related fields.
  • Knowledge of electronics and electricity as it relates to the repair and inspections of biomedical instrumentation.
