Description

Under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist our PRN Pharmacy Technician procures, prepares, packages, and distributes prescription drugs and pharmaceutical supplies.

 

PRN DAY SHIFT: This role works as needed on the day shift.

 

  • Maintains IV records and patient profiles and manufactures and prepares sterile products.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Individuals with experience and not certified may be hired contingent on achieving certification within one year of employment.
  • Certification must be maintained through continuing education requirements for continued employment.
  • Certification as a pharmacy technician by completion of an accredited technician training program, by national exam, or current enrollment in an accredited College of Pharmacy.
  • Demonstrates mathematical skills required to calculate and prepare dilutions, reconstitutions and compounded products.
