This position is full time, 10a-8:30p, Monday-Friday.
We’re seeking a Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Shift Nurse Manager with BSN and two+ years of experience. Our Registered Nurses are integral members of inter-professional teams in hospitals and clinics that are committed to outstanding patient care.
Minimum Qualifications:
JOIN OUR TEAM TODAY! At Emory University Hospital Midtown our Post Anesthesia Care Unit is located on 2 levels, Lobby Level & 2nd Level. We are 1 unit, separated by 2 different levels. Our PACU recovers all surgical patients (ORs), Endoscopy patients, Interventional Radiology patients who received General Anesthesia, and Cath Lab/EP Lab/COA (cardia observation area) patients after 4pm. PACU recovers various types of patients; General, GYN, Urology, Bariatrics, Robotics, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Podiatry, ENT, Skull Base, OMFS, and Plastics. On call requirements consist of weekends, holidays, and weeknights (Monday-Friday). There is a 6-12 week orientation period which is based on experience.
