Emory Healthcare has an opportunity for an experienced Internal Medicine Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Orthopedics Team.
In this role, the ideal Advanced Practice Provider (APP) candidate will support pre-operative Orthopedic patients and will be an integral part of our Orthopedics APP team. The position will be based at Emory Orthopedic & Spine Hospital and will provide pre-operative medical clearance in a clinic setting. Ideal candidate will have prior Internal Medicine experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, however may consider a recent graduate with clinical rotation experience in Internal Medicine.

Advanced Practice Providers assist in the evaluation and treatment of patients. Under the direction of a physician, performs physical examinations and specialized diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures including cast application and removal, wound suturing and dressing changes.
