Join our team of exceptional Advanced Practice Providers (APP's) in the Cardiac Critical Care Unit at Emory University Hospital.
The Cardiac Critical Care Unit (CCU) at Emory provides the opportunity to work closely with a variety of cardiac conditions including those with multi-system failure, advanced heart failure, and heart transplantation. We provide support to patients with severe states of shock including mechanical ventilatory support as well as mechanical circulatory support.
This is a Nocturnist position and the schedule will be 3 shifts per week from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM.
Our Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners are an integral part of the Emory Healthcare integrated academic health care system. Some highlights of joining the Emory Healthcare team:
Ideal candidate will have current ICU experience as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Current experience with mechanical circulatory support and invasive procedures is highly desired for this role. CVL and Arterial Line placement experience is strongly preferred.
Nurse Practitioner candidates must be Acute Care certified (ACNP or AGACNP).
