EVENING/NIGHT SHIFT: 7p-7:30a

 

We're seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to continue the growth of our Respiratory Care team at Emory University  Hospital Midtown. As part of our team you will be responsible for providing respiratory care to patients in acute, chronic, and emergency situations. You will perform routine ventilator and artificial airway treatments in critical and general care areas. You will assists physicians and perform routine and respiratory care activities as necessary.

 

In addition to hands on patient care, Respiratory Therapists are required to accurately and completely document respiratory care by following the established charting procedure. You will select, assemble and check respiratory care equipment for proper operation and cleanliness. You will work with management to formulate plans for professional development.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate of a CoARC (Commission on Accreditation of Respiratory Care) accredited approved school required.
  • Registered as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
  • Licensed as a Respiratory Care Professional (RCP) by the state of Georgia.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification in accordance with the American Heart Association required.
