The Evening Critical Care Clinical Pharmacy Specialist I practices as a clinical expert in specialty practice area(s). Cross coverage of all critical care locations will be required for vacations, rotating weekends, and holidays. The Evening Critical Care Clinical Pharmacy Specialist position rotates monthly from Evening Critical Care I (ECC I EUH Tower ICUs and CVICUs) to Evening Critical Care II (ECC II EUH Main ICUs). The specialist provides expertise in pharmacokinetic consults, order verification, code blue response, rapid sequence intubation response, and code stroke back up response. Eligible candidates should have their PharmD, PGY2 critical care residency or equivalent experience (5-7 years of clinical experience) in critical care, and be eligible for licensure in the state of Georgia. Board Certification is encouraged and supported. Experience precepting students and residents is also preferred.
