6:45a-3:15p/ Full Time/ 40 Hours 

Salary range -$17.95-$24.86

  

We're seeking a Anesthesia Technologist for Emory University Hospital, responsible for being a capable certified technician who cares about the quality of their work an ensuring the safety and care for all patients. 

This individual will:    

 

  • Performs all duties as an Anesthesia Technician I and II, including set up and support of equipment in all anesthetizing locations, and invasive hemodynamic monitoring lines.
  • Tests equipment to ensure that it remains in proper operating condition. Performs lower level troubleshooting and takes corrective action to prevent hazardous situations.
  • Ensures the availability of expendable laboratory and monitoring supplies by inspecting inventories and initiating purchase requisitions.
  • Responds to emergency service requests made after regular working hours on a rotating basis.
  • Takes required precautions in keeping with JCAHO, organizational and other safety guidelines when working with electrical equipment.
  • Performs daily apparatus equipment checks. Ability to prepare the anesthesia machine for procedures in the operating room and offsite areas.                                                                                                                                                                                            MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred. and three (3) years of work experience as an Anesthesia Technician or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
